Wheelchair Lift Interlocks
When your planning to construct a shaft to hold a commercial wheelchair lift or a residential wheelchair lift that requires interlocks you should have them shipped as soon as possible. In this example you can see that the interlocks were installed prior to taking delivery of the lift. This not only saves time, but it is preferable to stand the new wheelchair lift up in it’s permanent location as soon as you can.
In this example the wiring is already stubbed out, and the interlocks are already installed. The wiring is all wrapped neatly to the left side brace and positioned so you can connect it at any appropriate electrical location from top to bottom. There is approximately 20 feet of wire available in this 14 foot lift. All we need to do now is hoist the lift up and set it between the two previously framed walls.
