How A Wheelchair Elevator Lift Is Packaged
An excellent video that shows you exactly how a tall tower wheelchair lift is crated and packaged for delivery. It is helpful to see how the lift is packaged. First, the entire crate is shrink wrapped to insure that the lift is clean and dry when it is opened. Each individual part is placed in it’s own cardboard box, or palate, and fixed to the crate frame. Notice the crate frame wraps this vertical wheelchair platform lift in several strategic locations to provide additional rigidity for it’s journey.
When a wheelchair lift is shipped the carriage floor, and the carriage walls are not assembled. The cardboard spacers, the shrink wrap, and the rigid crate as a base insure that the carriage is not scratched or damaged, wet or dirty.
