Attaching A Come Along Hoist To The Platform Lift
It can be hard to visualize a come along hoist if you’ve never seen one. That is why these videos are so helpful to the planning process. In this example you can see where the chain is attached to the tower frame for the proper distribution of weight once the hoist process begins. You can also see how the brace is positioned at the top of the enclosure.
We have also included a close up of the dolly positioned at the bottom of the tower. As mentioned before, each installation can require slightly different approaches, but this one works quite well. As you will see in upcoming videos, the dolly moves along until the lift is in place, at which point it can be removed.
